How can I use map and ride-hailing app?
If you're using an iPhone, Apple Maps is fully functional in Chinese mainland (with data provided by Amap). If you're using an Android device, we recommend using Amap (高德地图).
In China, the most popular ride-hailing service providers (similar to Uber) are Amap (高德地图) and Didi (滴滴). You can access Amap and Didi's ride-hailing services directly through Alipay, without the need for any additional standalone app.
You can also hail a taxi using the traditional method. It's important to note that black taxis are typically luxury vehicles, and their fares are about twice the price of regular taxis, which are usually green, blue, or cyan.
