Qingdao

As one of the most picturesque coastal cities in China, Qingdao is situated to the Yellow Sea in the southeast direction. It is an essential economic hub, a popular resort, and tourism destination in Northern China. Additionally, it serves as an international shipping center for Northeast Asia, situated in the heart between Beijing, Shanghai in China and Seoul in Korea and Tokyo from Japan.

Qingdao boasts distinct marine climate characteristics due to its marine environment and the effects of the southeast monsoon, ocean currents, and water masses from the ocean. These result in moist air, abundant rainfall, moderate temperatures, and distinct four seasons. Spring arrives a month later than inland and the temperature rises gradually. During summer, it is humid, hot, and rainy but with few extremely hot days. In autumn, the sky is clear, the air is crisp with less rainfall that evaporates quickly. In winter, windy and cold weather persists for a prolonged period.
